Hi I read the competition rules and there's something I'll need you to clarify. When you say scalping is not allowed, what do you classify as scalping cus I'm an intraday trader and can open and close multiple positions on one pair in a day. So I'll like to know what you term as scalping for more clarity Thanks

Hi! The Scalping part is the minimum holding time which is often 2 to 5 minutes, which I think is not allowed

Could you provide major details about the ''scalping''?

To clarify for everyone asking scalping in this context isn't about how many trades you open per day, it's about holding time per trade. Based on the responses here, a trade closed within roughly 2–5 minutes of opening is what's being treated as scalping, and that's what's restricted in the September OneFunded contest. So an intraday trader who opens and closes several positions on one pair in a day is fine, as long as each individual trade is held longer than that minimum window. The confusion is understandable since "scalping" isn't always tied to a hard time threshold across different prop firms  some define it by trade count, others by holding time, others by both. If anyone wants a definitive answer rather than a forum consensus, it's worth checking OneFunded's official rulebook or contacting their support directly, since the exact cutoff (2 min vs 5 min vs something else) hasn't been stated precisely here.

Structure over emotion.

There’s no fixed minimum holding time I hold the trade based on the setup and market movement

not a specific number of minutes. As long as the setup remains valid I stay in

Is the trade/competition going to be able to already copy trades from my existing registered system here on myfxbook or am i going to have to place trades separately from another trading platform?

CONSISTENCY IS KEY.
