How do you handle disputes in P2P crypto trading?
I’ve been exploring P2P crypto trading recently, and one thing that stands out is disputes. Sometimes payments get delayed, or there’s confusion between buyer and seller.
From what I understand, most platforms provide escrow and support systems to handle these situations, but I’m curious how users actually deal with disputes in real cases.
While looking into different platforms like Bitdeal, I noticed that escrow and dispute handling are important features, but real user experience matters the most.
Do you trust the platform’s dispute system fully, or do you try to resolve issues directly with the other party first? What’s your experience?
I wouldn’t say I fully trust the platform blindly, but escrow does add a solid layer of protection. The crypto is usually locked until both sides confirm, and disputes rely on proof like payment records and chat logs, not just claims Personally, I try to resolve it directly first, but if something feels off, I escalate quickly. End of the day, it’s still about using the system properly, not just trusting it.
