How much does exchange choice matter for crypto trading?
I think many traders focus too much on finding the “best” crypto exchange, but in real trading the exchange is only one part of the setup.
For BTC and ETH, liquidity and execution are important, but risk control still matters more. A good platform will not save a trader from over-leverage, poor entries or holding losing trades too long.
I have used or compared Binance, Bybit, OKX and BYDFi. Bigger exchanges usually have deeper markets, but smaller platforms can sometimes feel easier for daily trading and testing strategies. For me, the main things to check are withdrawal reliability, fees, chart/order execution, account security and how easy it is to avoid mistakes.
How do you choose where to trade crypto? Do you care more about liquidity, fees, platform simplicity, or customer support?
