Gold continues pulling back to the upside, but the 55 day EMA at the 1326 level may still act as resistance. Only a breakdown below the 1300 level could take the price of gold out of consolidation.

Gold closed back above 1318.4.
As we disscussed yesterday, it is a short term bullish sign.
But we see the downtrend from recent high is a 5 wave pattern.
1335.5 is key level to watch.
We maintain the former long trade from 1313.5.

Gold has formed a pair of spinning tops at $1,295 on the daily time-frame so there may be some retracement next week before the move to the downside continues.

The consolidation on gold continues around the 1289 level and it has formed what it appears to be a bearish flag. Therefore, the price of gold may continue falling to the 1270 level.
