A senior Iranian source told Reuters there are no discussions to extend the U.S.-Iran ceasefire, arguing that from Tehran’s perspective, there was no official start date to extend.


Iran claims the U.S. violated the interim pact within 48 hours and later withdrew.


Talks are instead focused on a potential U.S. return to the memorandum of understanding (MOU) and a timeline for implementing commitments.


So far, Iran says no progress has been made.
