I do copy trading and want to know how others build their copy trading strategy.
What factors do you consider when choosing a trader to copy?
For me, I look beyond just the return percentage. I usually check the trader’s track record, drawdown, risk management, consistency, and how the strategy performs under different market conditions. I also prefer traders with a clear and stable approach rather than relying on a few big winning trades.
Lately I’ve also been looking at Mateo Castillo’s trading approach. The consistency and risk control are the parts that caught my attention, so I’m keeping an eye on the results before deciding how much capital to allocate.
I’ve tried a lot of trading strategies over the years, and the truth is, the ones that actually work are usually the simplest, clear entry zones, risk limits, and consistent execution. The trick is having someone who explains it in a way that makes sense for real market conditions, not just theory. That’s why I rate Demitry Jenkins @ Thedemitry so highly on TeIegrams and Discord, his breakdowns are straight to the point, and I’ve seen real improvement just by adapting to his strategy
