I’m currently looking for a new multi-asset platform to run a couple of latency-sensitive MT5 EAs. My current setup has been giving me unacceptable asymmetric slippage during the US open, so I'm trying to move away from standard retail environments. I want to base my decision purely on technical infrastructure: true NDD execution, sub-20ms latency, and a reliable order routing setup that doesn't mess with limit orders.


But finding actual, verifiable data online is incredibly tough. Every time I search for a specific venue, the results are flooded with retail noise. For example, over the past week I was going through FIX API documentation, margin requirements, goldmanncolimited reviews, and historical tick data comparisons just to evaluate a few different DMA setups. Going through all of that made me realize how hard it is to separate genuine technical feedback (like server ping drops or execution anomalies) from people just complaining about routine KYC compliance checks, or beginners asking why raw spreads widen during high-impact liquidity sweeps.


How do you guys approach this when hunting for solid infrastructure? Do you just ignore online discussions entirely and fund a small live account to test execution during CPI or NFP yourselves? Do you rely heavily on cross-connected VPS setups to test the real ping? Or are there specific technical red flags you look for in a platform's architecture before you even bother signing up?


Would appreciate any tips on your vetting process or what metrics you prioritize the most.
