Why do people still have managed accounts or buy signals or software? you can use systems to just copy others?

thats what a lot of these "so called" managers do for their clients. Its almost guaranteed that's what they are doing if they hide their lot size, stops, TP,s and history from public view.. they don't want to be "found out".
You for example TraderNumberOne, hide your lot size on a scalping EA and on a demo account... duh!!

You fool... I'm a trader, and I'm looking, analyzing and throwing out the chaff.
Your account is only 4 or 5 weeks old... come back in 12 months and show us that you still have some money left in the account.

My advice to these fools showing up with 4 week old accounts is to list your account on MyFXBook, and Shut the F up for at least 6 months, THEN start boasting how good you are as an account manager.
Wait for the trade to come to you... be patient.

Right on! People may think that PT49 is a bit aggressive. But I feel what he is going through as I am feeling the same anger with most people. A lot of them come here asking for investment and they can only show demo accounts with 1week to 4mnths history. But it is demo account. Not real live trading as that is a different subject.
And then there are people that show live trading with only 1week to 1month or two. You need to come back with 8-12months history to really understand what you are going to return.
Too many times people make profit for 2months or so and then account is busted. I dont get that.
You are not money managers, but scammers.

Exactly... people look at my accounts on myfxbook, and they laugh at the results, however, the account is still there and has not gone bust.
Those fools who laugh, simply disappear when their account goes bad, they just DON'T have the balls or guts to show their TRUE results over a longer period.

I've strict money management rules including when to enter, the market has to hit a preset drawdown level before I enter, which at this point for 2013 I'm very close to entering the market too. Might only get a few opportunities to enter the market each year but the odds are weighted in my favor. That is my live account, I'll PM you later, at work now..

I don't see any reason why anyone would have aaron manage their account based on the disclosed myfxbook results.
Because there is no visible history, account size, trade size etc (all locked as private) the only metrics to go on are the pip losses/wins and drawdown/profit.
I note that the largest trade loss was 635 pips... that makes it GLARINGLY obvious to me that aaronmdr trades WITHOUT stops, and in my experience, sensible investors shy away from managers who outright gamble like this.
- Many MMs would not show you exact details for account size, for tax or whatever reasons. For those who have million dollar accounts and want a pissing contest, go ahead. Just because it looks like there are no stops... doesn't mean that there are no stops. As for what makes a sensible investor, its objective. Gambling? Horseshit. Pure gambling would not give a result where average wins are more than the average losses. Afraid of a 635 pip largest trade loss? See the largest 1199 pip gain. Most investors don't really care about all that, they mainly want to know 2 things 1) How much can they earn 2) What is the max drawdown. If they want to know what position sizing will be used in accordance to their capital, even better.
The trend is your friend!

LOL... and that's EXACTLY why it is SO easy for scammers on these boards to take uninformed Investors for a ride.
All I'm doing in my posts here is EDUCATING some of these wouldbe investors before they get conned by slick talking heads with a 4 week old live or demo account purporting to show that they are an expert safe manager of other peoples funds.
The EASIEST scam on investors is these idiot managers making 5 to 20+ trades a day and making 5% a month on average for the investor... if they are lucky.
What the uneducated investor doesn't realize is that the "manager" is copping a rebate from the broker on EVERY trade of about ½ to 1 pip... and the more trades the manager makes, the more money he makes whether the trade loses or wins.

Hello. In my opinion, good trader dont promise you more than 5% of profit in a month on average. I have 2 PAMM accounts, but 80% of money I keep on conservative accout with profit no more than 5%.
