Plantation trading
I one time read of a trader who took 5 years to grow 100 dollars to 10,000 dollars. talk of consistency and faith and hard work. what amazed me was he later took a very short time to fully blow the 10,000. one bad set up, one bad day, one bad trade took him out in one week. whats one of your experiences that you wont mind sharing.?

Short story is he probably got comfortable and broke his own rules. It usually doesn’t happen in one trade, it’s a series of small lapses that build up. After growing an account like that, confidence can turn into overconfidence. One oversized position or ignoring risk is all it takes to wipe out years of work.
