Which trading style suits you better fast-paced day trading or holding positions for a few days or weeks?

Personally, if I’m answering I’d lean toward holding positions for a few days to a few weeks rather than pure fast-paced day trading. When day trading you’ll be dealing with a lot of noise, spreads, slippage, intraday liquidity sweeps, news spikes, and short-term price manipulation. On the other hand, swing trading you can give the trade more room to develop around a larger fundamental or technical thesis. I can look at things like the broader trend, interest-rate expectations, CPI/PPI, employment data, market structure, and then use technical levels for the entry and risk.

One of the biggest advantages of trading less frequently is that you don’t have to manufacture opportunities. Sometimes, the best trade is simply waiting.

You can also use trading bots to automate parts of the process. I currently have a trading bot running with verifiable results if you’re interested, link in my bio.
