What Is the Best Time to Trade Forex for Beginners?

The most active periods are during session overlaps, especially the London and New York overlap. This is when liquidity is highest and price movements are more consistent, making it easier to find clear setups.
In contrast, low activity periods can lead to slow or unpredictable movements, which can be harder for beginners to trade.
Many new traders improve simply by focusing on a specific session instead of trading all day. It reduces noise and helps build a more structured routine.
I kinda noticed this too while learning. Sometimes I would stare at charts during quieter hours and end up forcing random trades because nothing was really moving. The London and New York sessions feel a lot cleaner for me since there’s more volume and price reacts better around key levels.

I agree with the low activity part especially. I noticed some of my worst entries happen during slower sessions because price tends to move sideways without clear direction, then suddenly spikes for no reason. Feels much harder to read compared to London or NY overlap where momentum and volume look cleaner.
