What is the perfect time zone to trade forex? Why is that?
Sometimes the slower Asian session gives cleaner setups. The London-NY overlap has volume, but it also comes with more noise and fake moves.
Honestly, time zones become secondary once you understand how the market behaves. No session is really bad for trading. Each one has periods where valid setups appear if you watch closely.
At the end of the day, the main thing to look at with time zones is liquidity and volatility. Those two factors usually determine whether the market offers clean moves or just slow ranges. That’s why many traders focus on sessions where participation is highest rather than trying to trade every hour of the day.
For me it’s mostly about liquidity and manageable volatility for the pair I’m trading. Too little movement makes setups slow, but too much volatility can distort the structure. Finding that balance during a consistent session usually works best.
