When I first started trading, I was much more interested in short-term trades. I liked being active and having something happening on the charts.

Over time, I found myself moving more toward swing trading. I’m more comfortable waiting for a setup I like and giving the trade some room rather than constantly looking for the next entry.

I’ve also been interested in social trading because it’s interesting to see how other traders approach the same market, especially when their style is completely different from yours.

Every style has its pros and frustrations, be it scalping, day trading, swing trading, position trading, social trading, etc.

So what type of trading are you closest to right now? And has your style changed as you gained more experience or have you pretty much stuck with the same approach?

I think the biggest change for me was realizing I don’t need to trade every move. I’d rather miss a few trades than force an entry just because I’ve been staring at the chart all day.

Process over predictions.
