The profitability of an EA depends heavily on the rules and the setup it’s designed to execute. But the trader is still responsible for monitoring risk and performance. In some cases that responsibility can be just as challenging as manual trading.

With a good enough strategy, yes. But without a solid strategy behind it, an EA won’t be profitable even with the superior speed and precision.
