Gold-Risky H1 Trend Following: An Aggressive Compounding Journey
Hello everyone,I am opening this thread to keep myself accountable and to document my journey trading Gold (XAU/USD) on the H1 timeframe.The Strategy: My approach is purely systematic and based on classic Trend-Following principles. I don’t try to predict the market; I ride the waves.• Trend Filter / Trailing Stop: 200 EMA• Entry Trigger: 36 EMA and 78 EMA Crossover (essentially a triple MACD zero-lag logic plotted on the chart)• Take Profit: None. I let my winners run until the market stops me out.• I believe keeping a public journal will really help my discipline.
