How are triangle chart patterns working for you? I’m curious to know how you all use them in your trading.

Triangle chart patterns can work really well, but I feel they only become reliable when they’re paired with good confirmation signals.

For me, I use triangles mainly to spot market compression and potential breakout zones. Symmetrical triangles help me plan breakout trades, while ascending/descending triangles give a clearer directional bias. But I never enter just because “a triangle formed”—I always wait for:

• A clean breakout candle• Retest of the breakout zone• Volume confirmation (if available)• Spread stability and fast execution from the broker

This last point is really important—because even the best pattern fails if execution slips or spreads widen. That’s why I trade with Amillex. The spreads stay tight (especially on gold), execution is fast, and orders fill cleanly, which helps a lot when trading breakout patterns where every pip matters.
