EAs and Forex Success: A Realistic Perspective

Many EAs (automated trading robots) on the market are promoted as if they can generate constant profits. Traders often assume these systems will provide easy and steady income, but real market experience proves otherwise. EAs developed by others rarely deliver reliable long-term results.

Consider this: if you had an EA that consistently made profits, why would you sell it to someone else? Most people would maximize their earnings by using their own system. Even if you decided to sell it, the true value of such an EA could not be measured with a small fee; it would be worth millions.

For those seeking success with EAs in Forex, developing your own EA is crucial. Relying on someone else’s robot is far less effective than learning the markets, managing risks, and creating your own strategies. Corporate firms also use automated systems, but all of theirs are designed and developed in-house.

EAs purchased externally may appear impressive in backtests, but they rarely produce consistent results in live market conditions. Common issues include:

Backtest results manipulated using historical data.Sellers providing buyers with incomplete or non-functional versions.Poor risk-reward balance.Important warning: If someone offers to sell you a ready-made EA, it is very likely worthless. Even if they show live results, they usually do not provide the actual EA; instead, they give a version that will not work properly. Do not waste your money.

In short, if you want to achieve sustainable and reliable success with EAs, developing your own EA is the safest and most effective approach. Relying on someone else’s robot will almost always lead to inconsistent and unreliable results.

I completely agree with you about the EAs. You’re absolutely right
