I am a trader from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
My approach is rule-based and risk-controlled, combining human decision-making with light automation.
I trade independent orders (IO) — each position is opened and closed individually with predefined risk.
I do not use grid, martingale, or averaging strategies.
Automation is used only for execution discipline, such as break-even management and profit taking.
Trade entries remain discretionary, while exits and risk control are systematic.
My primary objective is consistency and survivability, not short-term performance or rankings.
A system is considered successful only when live trading behavior closely matches backtest results.
I accept losing streaks as part of the process and manage risk at the portfolio level to ensure long-term durability.

Correct, the current ROI is negative.However, ROI alone doesn’t represent system quality.This period is within the statistically expected drawdown range from my backtest.What matters is that risk, trade frequency, and loss distribution still align with the model.
I understand. However, don't completely trust backtest result. Backtesting is clearly an essential part of developing a trading strategy. However, you must understand that backtest results may differ from actual trading results. Therefore, backtesting is never an easy process. Some people are satisfied with excellent backtest result, only to realize after live testing that factors they hadn't considered during backtesting were missing.
