January 30th was the last order day for February futures. It's believed that only about 5% of the physical gold traded on the exchange is delivered. This "paper" 95% closed positions on the 29th and 30th. There's speculation that gold will fall by the same amount. There are still about 400,000 futures contracts in the market, 95% of which are paper. The gold bubble is bursting. The fair price is 4,000-4,200.
I know the price will be at that level ...
