Di Australia, Indeks Harga Produsen (PPI) QoQ mengukur persentase perubahan harga yang diterima oleh produsen domestik untuk output mereka dibandingkan dengan kuartal sebelumnya. Ini digunakan untuk menilai tekanan inflasi dalam perekonomian.

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the AUD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the AUD.

Australia's economy logged a stronger-than-expected growth in the second quarter, raising prospects of interest rate hikes by the Reserve Bank of Australia.
