Indeks Aktivitas Ekonomi IBC-Br mengukur kinerja ekonomi Brasil di sektor pertanian, industri, dan jasa, memberikan gambaran awal tentang angka PDB. Ini digunakan oleh Bank Sentral untuk menilai perubahan potensial dalam kebijakan moneter.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the BRL while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the BRL.
