Di Hong Kong, Penjualan Ritel YoY mengukur persentase perubahan dalam penjualan ritel barang dibandingkan dengan bulan yang sama tahun lalu. Indikator ini digunakan untuk menilai tren pengeluaran konsumen dan kesehatan ekonomi secara keseluruhan.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the HKD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the HKD.
