Di Filipina, Neraca Perdagangan mengukur selisih antara nilai ekspor dan impor barang. Defisit perdagangan terjadi ketika impor melebihi ekspor, menunjukkan permintaan yang lebih tinggi untuk barang asing dibandingkan dengan produksi domestik.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the PHP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the PHP.
