Ang Budget Balance sa Pilipinas ay sumusukat sa pagkakaiba sa pagitan ng mga kita at gastos ng gobyerno para sa isang tiyak na panahon. Ipinapakita nito kung ang gobyerno ay may surplus o deficit.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the PHP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the PHP.

Philippine Economy Grows At Slowest Pace Since 2021
The Philippine economy grew at the weakest pace since early 2021 as the war in the Middle-east and corruption scandals weighed on investment and spending, official data showed Friday. Gross domestic product expanded 2.3 percent year-on-year in the second quarter, marking the slowest rate since the first quarter of 2021, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.

Philippine Central Bank Hikes Rates By 25 Bps
The Philippine central bank lifted its key interest rates by 25 basis points on Thursday to control inflation expectations and mitigate the risk of second-round effects.
