A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the PHP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the PHP.

The Philippine economy grew at the weakest pace since early 2021 as the war in the Middle-east and corruption scandals weighed on investment and spending, official data showed Friday. Philippine Central Bank Hikes Rates By 25 Bps
