PPI YoY mengukur persentase perubahan harga produsen di Filipina dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya. Ini digunakan untuk menilai tekanan inflasi dalam perekonomian.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the PHP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the PHP.

The Philippine economy grew at the weakest pace since early 2021 as the war in the Middle-east and corruption scandals weighed on investment and spending, official data showed Friday. Gross domestic product expanded 2.3 percent year-on-year in the second quarter, marking the slowest rate since the first quarter of 2021, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.

Philippine Central Bank Hikes Rates By 25 Bps
