Di Singapura, Tingkat Inflasi Inti YoY mengukur persentase perubahan harga konsumen, tidak termasuk perubahan harga mobil dan akomodasi, dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya. Ini digunakan untuk menilai tekanan inflasi yang mendasari dalam perekonomian.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the SGD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the SGD.

Singapore Unexpectedly Tightens Monetary Policy
The Monetary Authority of Singapore tightened its policy for the second straight time in order to cap inflationary pressures. The central bank unexpectedly increased the rate of appreciation of the S$NEER policy band slightly. However, the extent of the increase was smaller than that in April.
