Indeks PMI Manufaktur procure.ch mengukur kinerja sektor manufaktur Swiss berdasarkan ekspektasi pengadaan eksekutif untuk bulan berikutnya. Pembacaan di atas 50 menunjukkan ekspansi dibandingkan dengan bulan sebelumnya.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CHF while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CHF.

Swiss Economy Expands Most Since 2021
Switzerland's economy expanded at the fastest pace in nearly five years in the second quarter, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, or SECO said Thursday. Gross domestic product logged a quarterly growth of 1.5 percent, the fastest since the third quarter of 2021. The rate matched the preliminary estimate released in August and followed a growth of 0.5 percent in the first quarter.

The Swiss National Bank left its policy rate unchanged on Thursday as inflation continues to remain well within the target. The central bank left its policy rate at zero percent, in line with market expectations. The SNB had lowered the key rate by 175 basis points since March 2024.

The Swiss economy expanded less than estimated in the first quarter on subdued domestic demand, data from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, or SECO, showed Monday. Gross domestic product grew 0.4 percent in the first quarter, which was revised down from the initial estimate of 0.5 percent.
