Di Amerika Serikat, Neraca Perdagangan mengukur perbedaan antara ekspor dan impor barang. Defisit perdagangan terjadi ketika impor melebihi ekspor, menunjukkan neraca negatif, sementara surplus menunjukkan lebih banyak ekspor daripada impor.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD.

U.S. Producer Prices Increase 0.4% In August, In Line With Estimates
Producer prices in the U.S. increased in line with economist estimates in the month of August, the Labor Department revealed in a report released on Thursday. The Labor Department said its producer price index for final demand rose by 0.4 percent in August following a revised 0.1 percent uptick in July.
