Indeks Harga PCE Inti MoM mengukur persentase perubahan harga barang dan jasa di Amerika Serikat, tidak termasuk makanan dan energi, dibandingkan dengan bulan sebelumnya. Ini adalah ukuran inflasi yang disukai oleh Federal Reserve.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD.

Producer prices in the U.S. increased in line with economist estimates in the month of August, the Labor Department revealed in a report released on Thursday. The Labor Department said its producer price index for final demand rose by 0.4 percent in August following a revised 0.1 percent uptick in July.
