Di Amerika Serikat, tingkat partisipasi mengukur persentase angkatan kerja sipil yang bekerja atau secara aktif mencari pekerjaan, relatif terhadap total populasi berusia 16 tahun ke atas. Indikator ini memberikan wawasan tentang keterlibatan pasar tenaga kerja dan kesehatan ekonomi secara keseluruhan.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD.

NAR said existing home sales dove by 2.0 percent to an annual rate of 3.98 million in August after tumbling by 1.7 percent to an annual rate of 4.06 million in July.

Producer prices in the U.S. increased in line with economist estimates in the month of August, the Labor Department revealed in a report released on Thursday. The Labor Department said its producer price index for final demand rose by 0.4 percent in August following a revised 0.1 percent uptick in July.
