Penjualan Ritel YoY mengukur perubahan persentase tahun-ke-tahun dalam penjualan ritel di Amerika Serikat, membandingkan penjualan agregat barang ritel selama bulan tertentu dengan bulan yang sama setahun sebelumnya. Indikator ini digunakan untuk menilai tren pengeluaran konsumen.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD.

A report released by the National Association of Realtors on Thursday showed an extended slump by existing home sales in the U.S. in the month of August. NAR said existing home sales dove by 2.0 percent to an annual rate of 3.98 million in August after tumbling by 1.7 percent to an annual rate of 4.06 million in July.

U.S. Producer Prices Increase 0.4% In August, In Line With Estimates
Producer prices in the U.S. increased in line with economist estimates in the month of August, the Labor Department revealed in a report released on Thursday. The Labor Department said its producer price index for final demand rose by 0.4 percent in August following a revised 0.1 percent uptick in July.
