Australian Dollar Falls Against Majors
(RTTNews) - The Australian dollar weakened against other major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The Australian dollar fell to a 2-month low of 0.6978 against the U.S. dollar, more than a 2-week low of 109.83 against the yen and a 5-day low of 0.9905 against the Canadian dollar, from yesterday's closing quotes of 0.7016, 110.39 and 0.9970, respectively.
Against the euro and the NZ dollar, the aussie dropped to more than a 1-month low of 1.6273 and a 2-week low of 1.2341 from an early 5-day high of 1.6167 and a 6-day low of 1.2438, respectively.
If the aussie extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 0.68 against the greenback, 108.00 against the yen, 0.98 against the loonie, 1.64 against the euro and 1.21 against the kiwi.
