(RTTNews) - Japan will on Thursday release August figures for its current account, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. Forecasts suggest a surplus of 3.194 trillion yen, up from 2.989 trillion in July.
South Korea will provide August current account data; in July, the current account surplus was $42.08 billion.
Australia will see October results of the inflation forecast from the Melbourne Institute; in September, the inflation outlook was 4.9 percent.
Taiwan will release September numbers for imports, exports and trade balance; in August, imports were up 44.3 percent on year and exports rose an annual 41.0 percent for a trade surplus of $22.30 billion.
