Japan Housing Start Data Due On Wednesday

(RTTNews) - Japan will on Wednesday release November numbers for housing starts and construction orders, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Housing starts are expected to sink 4.3 percent on year after falling 6.3 percent in the previous month; construction orders improved an annual 4.2 percent in October.
China will see November data for industrial profits; in October, profits slumped7.8 percent on year.

Australia Inflation Rises In August
Australia's consumer price inflation accelerated in August on higher housing and transport costs, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said Wednesday. Consumer price inflation rose to 4.0 percent from 3.5 percent in July. Inflation continues to remain above the central bank target range of 2-3 percent.

China Private Sector Growth Improves
China's manufacturing and services sectors expanded at faster rates in September as robust new orders underpinned employment, survey results from S&P Global showed Wednesday. The RatingDog China general manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index rose to 52.1 in September from 51.5 in August. The score was seen at 51.7. The index has remained above the 50.0 no-change mark.
