CPT Markets Strengthens APAC Partnerships and Shares FX Industry Insights at iFX EXPO Asia 2026
As an official Gold Sponsor, we connected with institutional partners and industry peers, while contributing to discussions on the future of FX.
HONG KONG, 14 October 2026 — Global financial services provider CPT Markets has concluded its participation in iFX EXPO Asia 2026 as an exhibitor and official Gold Sponsor. Running from 7 to 9 October, with the main exhibition held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on 8 and 9 October, the event brought our team together with partners and industry peers for three days of networking, meetings, and discussion. At Booth 177, conversations centred on platform technology, secure and compliant operating environments, and partnership frameworks shaped by what partners across the region need.
In its first year at the HKCEC, iFX EXPO Asia welcomed more than 23,000 attendees, including over 5,000 B2B visitors, alongside more than 270 exhibitors and over 150 speakers. The audience spanned fintech, payments, technology providers, banks, exchanges, digital assets, fund managers, family offices, and professional firms from across the wider financial services ecosystem. A turnout of that scale underlined the standing of Hong Kong as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region.
Our participation supported CPT Markets' wider APAC strategy, bringing us face-to-face with institutional counterparties and introducing brokers from across the region. Backed by 18 years in the industry and more than 1,000,000 clients worldwide, we used the platform to strengthen existing relationships and explore new partnership opportunities.
At Booth 177, our team introduced visitors to CPT Markets' platform infrastructure, technology, and partnership support, with discussions tailored to their business needs. Two offerings received particular attention: our exclusive tiered IB Reward Programme, structured to scale alongside growing partnerships, and the CPT U-Card, a Visa virtual card that supports global payouts and payments. Client support, available around the clock, reflected the standard of service we aim to bring to every market we operate in.
These capabilities rest on our focus on regulatory compliance and responsible operational standards. CPT Markets operates through entities regulated across multiple jurisdictions, with requirements and client protections applying according to the relevant entity and market.
Beyond the exhibition floor, our regional executives held one-to-one business consultations in the dedicated VIP seating area at Booth 177, giving prospective partners the time and privacy that meaningful commercial discussions require. The team opened the event at the official Welcome Party on 7 October, an early and relaxed setting for introductions before the main exhibition began. On 8 October, CPT Markets also hosted a dinner in Causeway Bay, welcoming more than 300 guests, including media representatives, introducing brokers, and clients.
The same day, PH Kam, Sales Director at CPT Markets, joined the "FX Is Dead. Long Live FX" roundtable panel. The 30-minute discussion explored the evolution of traditional FX business models, competition from emerging asset classes, and how AI, automation, and tokenisation could reshape the industry by 2030. Kam told the audience that AI, automation, tokenisation, and new asset classes are reshaping the market. Looking ahead, he said: "By 2030, FX will remain the backbone of global finance, with success driven by technology, compliance, and client trust."

Our time in Hong Kong reinforced the value of direct engagement with institutional partners, introducing brokers, and industry peers. These conversations highlighted the importance of responsive support, reliable technology, and partnership frameworks that evolve alongside changing business needs. That perspective will continue to shape how we strengthen relationships across APAC and support partners as their businesses evolve.
