OANDA offers a very solid and reliable trading environment. The execution is stable, the platform is easy to use, and everything works smoothly. It integrates perfectly with Myfxbook, which makes tracking performance simple and accurate. Overall, it provides a professional experience for both beginner and experienced traders.
What would you improve about Oanda?
So far my experience has been very positive. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be adding more advanced built-in analytics tools directly on the platform, but since it integrates so well with Myfxbook, this is not a major issue.

My overall experience has been very good. Myfxbook, together with OANDA, helps me analyze my trading performance in detail, identify mistakes, and correct my strategy. I don’t need to use Excel or create manual reports, because everything is automatically generated. This makes it much easier to evaluate my accounts, track my growth, and stay disciplined as a trader.

Oanda is super user friendly and easy to use. they offer super small lots, which is great if you're testing or just want to learn on a very small live account.

Honestly, I can't think of anything. I find the service to be very solid.

I've been with oanda for 12+ years, and I have never had a serious issue with them. their customer service has always been very helpful anytime I've had need to contact them (only a handful of times) and their documentation is top notch.
the spreads are generally reasonable and I've only got caught out by a spike maybe 5 times over the years, usually my own fault.
lastly, they have The Best api of any broker I've researched. It's RESTful, with no overcomplications. As a developer, this is very important to me as I write custom tools for my trading. I'd be hard pressed to find a better broker for my needs.

i enjoy the user interface customer care and fast deposit and withdraw times although have only tested each way once they were same day for both deposit and withdrawal fastest i have seen for a bank transfer personally
What would you improve about Oanda?
some selection of stocks in different sectors to diversify under certain economic conditions
overall happy everything works as it should nothing shady
one thing i would add it be quite fun if there was a social aspect to trading where you could discuss ideas with others on a chatroom

The system works, but it seems the company is very fixated on other markets. It is very complicated, and rigid. If you make a withdrawal, and the account is not the same as the depositing bank, they will sit on your money, untill you make a complaint. And spreads on i.e. gold is upwards of almost 100 in peak hours, and normally around 40...

Nothing, Oanda is complete trash! It's been a terrible experience! There is no portfolio performance stats or charts to help traders analyze their past performance. The platform charting system doesn't save traders charts/work correctly. There is nothing worse than adding technical analysis tools like S/R levels, moving averages, and other indicators to your charts, only to find everything gone the next time you login to your account. The insanely huge spread liquidity sweeps intended to stop traders out of their positions are ridiculously out of control! Customer service is none existent

I would integrate portfolio performance system which includes stats and charts to help traders analyze their performance. I would also make the platform charting system save traders work correctly. There is nothing worse than adding technical analysis tools like S/R levels, moving averages, and other indicators to your charts, just to find everything gone the next time you login to your account. I'd also make the spread liquidity sweeps intended to stop out client positions come to a stop!

In my account on 24th june 2025 my ea placed 3 sell stop on us100, 1 x sell stop at 21990.2 and 2 x sell stop at 22008.6.
As per historical transactions the 3 sell stop orders have been executed at 21222.3 (between 700 and 1000 pips of spread/slippage) on 24th june 2025 at 18:16:44 (broker time gmt +2)
I ask clarification they told me it’s my ea issue, but this is a bullshit since everyone can see that the price on us100 on 24th june 2025 at 18:16:44 (broker time greece time zone) was between 750 and 1000pips far from the 3 sell stop orders….
