I really appreciate how smoothly the copying feature works. It’s fast, reliable, and completely hassle-free, which makes the whole experience much more enjoyable and efficient.

Recommendation: Profit Share Model on Top of Existing Monthly Subscription

The platform already has a monthly subscription fee. I believe the system could become even stronger and more sustainable if a profit share model is added on top of the existing subscription.

Existing monthly subscription fee (from the copier)

Profit share (a percentage of the copier’s profit, set by the signal provider)

This way, signal providers earn a stable income and also receive additional earnings based on their performance. It also attracts successful traders to the platform because it creates a “the more you earn, the more you get paid” system.

My suggestion for implementation:

At the beginning of each month, the previous month’s profit is calculated.

The signal provider receives a profit share based on the percentage they set on the platform.

If the copier fails to pay the profit share, the subscription is canceled or copying is stopped.

This model would make the platform more reliable and increase the motivation of signal providers.

Overall

It’s a platform I really like, and in my opinion it’s the number one copy trading platform in the world. It works flawlessly.

However, if the system I suggested is implemented to make it even better and attract the world’s most successful traders, then it would be truly unbeatable.

I’ve been using SignalStart as a signal provider, and my experience has been disappointing lately. After moving my funds from one broker to another, I needed to update my trading account on their platform. To my surprise, SignalStart demanded another $25 setup fee just to update my account — something not mentioned anywhere in their pricing or policy pages.

When I signed up, the $25 was described as a one-time setup fee, not something that would apply every time I changed brokers. This hidden cost feels misleading and unfair, especially for long-term users.

Their support response was unhelpful and offered no clarity on where this policy is stated. Transparency is essential in the trading community, and extra undisclosed fees like this damage trust.

Pros: The platform works technically well.
Cons: Hidden fees, poor communication, and lack of transparency.

Unless they fix this and make their pricing policy clear, I wouldn’t recommend SignalStart to other serious traders or signal providers.

Been using Signal Start for a while now as a provider and personally I love it, its easy for a provider to set up an account and use, Iv not used it as a account follower so I cant comment on that, Glad I found this service when I did, would just like to be able to remove my 1* rating lol.

I propose considering the introduction of a "stop copying" or "stop and close all trades" option if a custom balance or drawdown level is reached. The current options only stop at not opening new orders. If we stop only at this option, it poses a risk if the price goes in the wrong direction, leading to heavier losses. Therefore, providing an option to close all trades and stop copying is necessary.

We have started to use SignalStart a few months back, and have found it to be a reliable and down to the ground platform where we can host our signals. Though we started not that long ago, the process will take some time to prove (or disprove) our signals' strategies. So far we have been making good progress, and gaining subscribers on our signals steadily, and hope to continue doing so while providing our specific strategy signals service through this platform.

As a signal provider SignalStart has no way of attracting new trade copiers. I just have to keep trading and hope people find me. That's a major downside but I will remain patient and let my trading do the talking. Hopefully they add more features in the future.

Good platform with a variety of signals and reasonable information on each one of them, but it lacks a very important characteristic to be a professional service and not a toy: YOU CANNOT CONFIGURE THE AUTOMATIC CLOSURE OF THE TRADES OF A CERTAIN PROVIDER WHEN THEY REACH CERTAIN SITUATIONS . FOR EXAMPLE, OVERCOMING A CERTAIN DRAWDOWN. Therefore it is necessary to monitor it manually.
