Discussion of the OneFunded Forex Contest
YasirAlMasari posted:Hello, I have a question: Is automated trading allowed in the competition or on your funding accounts—specifically using a custom-programmed bot of my own design that employs scalping, stop-loss, and a trailing stop?
At a competition account, automated trading is allowed as long as it's not using scalping strategy, this strategy is forbidden at competition.
However, automated trading, including the use of custom-programmed bots, Expert Advisors (EAs), that automatically place or close trades or other algorithmic trading systems, is not permitted on our challenge and funded accounts. While we appreciate the effort involved in developing your custom-programmed bot, OneFunded accounts are intended for discretionary trading performed directly by the trader.
Wishing you a good luck!

Pls clarify since you say "automated trading ... is allowed" and in the same post you say " Expert Advisors (EAs), that automatically place or close trades or other algorithmic trading systems, is not permitted"

The real challenge right now isn't even the competition; it's the platform's UI layout. I consistently receive notifications for new activity, but tracking down the most recent post or comment in this thread is unnecessarily difficult.
