I agree psychology matters a lot, but it’s easier to manage when you have simple rules. When I didn’t have a clear plan, my emotions were running everything. Once I knew what I was looking for and when I was wrong, I stopped taking every move personally.

Understanding psychology early would have saved me money. I think Fear makes you cut winners too soon. Greed makes you hold losers too long. Once I accepted losses as part of the business and stuck to fixed risk, my results improved.

Psychology is the foundation. Without emotional control, even a profitable system fails. I used to break my own rules after a losing streak. The real improvement came when I treated trading like a process, not a way to feel good.

Trading exposes your habits fast. Impatience, ego, and the need to be right all show up in the market. When I started focusing on consistency and emotional control instead of chasing profits, I stopped blowing accounts and started progressing.
