Di Tiongkok, PPI YoY mengukur persentase perubahan harga produsen dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya. Ini digunakan untuk menilai tekanan inflasi di tingkat grosir.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CNY while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CNY.

China's consumer price inflation increased in August, driven by higher technology and energy prices, and producer price inflation exceeded economists' forecasts, official data revealed Wednesday.
