I usually check security, liquidity, execution, and withdrawals first. Fees and spreads matter but reliable execution and being able to withdraw funds smoothly are more important to me. product range and risk controls come next.

No, i don't really like EAs, trading is never that easy. In my opinion, they are the biggest scam in forex, but if you do it and it works for you, that good. Everybody is free to use them.

For me, it’s not only about making the EA trade for me. I also want to work on myself, improve my decision-making and understand my own trading better. The EA can help, but I don’t want to stop learning and developing as a trader.

I prefer missing some trades instead of accepting crazy slippage. Around CPI/NFP a bad fill can completely change the setup. Stop-limit is not perfect, but at least you know the maximum price you are willing to enter.

Agree with this. Win rate can be very misleading. I prefer to see how much a strategy lose when it's wrong, not only how often it wins. 80-90% win rate looks nice, but one big loss can destroy many small profits. Expectancy and risk management matter much more for me.
Holding trades through 5 PM EST rollover (need advice on spread spikes)

I’d probably have a rule to close before rollover unless the trade was planned as a swing from the start. Widening the stop just to survive the spread can easily mess up your risk management. Those extra pips are tempting, but sometimes better to protect the trade and avoid that low liquidity window.

Your estimation was totally correct as I believe, 3% daily is realistic and also really fine, just consider that it is 3% of your total risk not your total equity.
