"Unauthorized USD 920 Withdrawal from AXI MT4 Account - Major Security Issues"

I previously thought AXI was an excellent broker. After what happened with the unauthorized transaction, my confidence in AXI collapsed. I don't recommend it at this time.

On May 7, 2025, I found USD 920 withdrawn from my AXI MT4 account on April 24, 2025, without my consent, to a UAE bank, leaving USD 7.51. AXI’s agent confirmed the fraud via WhatsApp but only gave a reference number, telling me to contact the bank. My KYC documents (ID, proof of address, bank details) were deleted from their portal, with no record of the fraudulent account. AXI noted the transaction came from a Bosnia-Herzegovina IP, a place I’ve never been (I’m in Colombia). They blamed me, suggesting a VPN or shared credentials, ignoring their duty to verify withdrawals. After 16 days, they cited terms, refusing responsibility. I’ve reported this to ASIC, FCA, and The Financial Commission. AXI’s security lapses cost me dearly.
We have previously been in contact regarding this matter and wish to provide the following additional clarity.
We understand how distressing this experience has been, and we want to acknowledge that directly. Losing access to funds, regardless of the circumstances, is a serious matter and we do not take it lightly.
Upon receiving notification of your concern, Axi immediately initiated a transfer recall request through our intermediary bank and maintained ongoing communication with you throughout this process. When the recall was unsuccessful, you were advised to contact the beneficiary bank directly, which is consistent with standard industry practice for matters of this nature.
To address some of the specific points raised:
Regarding the KYC documents: client verification records are retained in accordance with our regulatory obligations and data retention policies. We are not able to discuss the specific details of your account publicly, but we would encourage you to contact our client support team directly if you have not received a satisfactory explanation on this point.
Regarding the IP flag: as noted in our previous response, the withdrawal was processed using valid account credentials. Where unusual access patterns are identified, our team follows established security protocols. We recognise this does not resolve the outcome for you, and we regret that the recall process was not successful despite our prompt action.
We have acted in accordance with our Client Agreement and all applicable regulatory obligations.

They have all the assets I need to trade. Very quick withdrawals and deposits. The customer service works 24/7 from what I see. A live agent is always available to chat with and 10/10 times any issue I have gets resolved quickly.
The AXI select program is a one of one and a complete game changer for me.
What would you improve about Axi?
The spreads could be better on certain currency pairs.

I would give this broker a 9/10. Very easy and quick deposits and withdrawals. Customer service is 10/10. There spreads aren't the best in the game for Forex, this is where they come up a bit short but the spreads are not "bad" where it will eat into your profits but they could be better.
Overall this is a very good broker and I have never had any issues with them whether it's withdrawals, slippage or anything.

Never ever use this broker, no matter how they sell their offers to you. Deposit is flawless but withdrawal is a pain in the ass. P.S. I have own an account with them for several months and this is not a 1 time occurrence in fact not a 20 time occurrence, it happens every time you make withdrawals I am using them because they offer PLN account. When you deposit they debit you immediately but when you want to withdraw they will send you a fake confirmation that your payment has been sent to their payment processor, and make you wait 1-2 days, at the end they will put the money back in your trading account and tell you that there is an error with their payment processor. Their motive is this, you will end up trading with the money they returned and losing it. To withdraw is like a war with them. I have screenshots and chats from them incase anyone wants to take this up especially the regulators. I am not the only victim here, I am sure there are others.
