CMC Markets lack trading notifications from server - which requires you to constantly log in to track any new trades (especially if you do automated trading). Adding this feature would be awesome!
Overall
Excellent pricing and customer service. Any issue is resolved quickly (mostly related to onboarding). Slippage is low and very stable pricing for Gold.

I have two bad experience.
1. they have two system or more at the same account once is web base, or another at MT4,
I have a bad experience, they are close a order at the web base system, but keep my order at the MT4, then I can view my order in the MT4, but can not do anythings, order close can not make.
2. they are suddenly stop my account service , then I can not make new order at 4 dec, 2025.after I confirm my account information, that work again,
then after that I ask the SC, they say my account information is overdue. And then 7 dec, 2025, i got the message need to to confirm my account information by email!
I do not know that this company, why they are doesn't make sense to do anythings!
Before the time I do not got any email or note to confirm my account information.
Overall
I was using CMC for quite a while and I found them to be ok. Not the kind of platform you would want to use for automated trading (i'm not actually sure if you can on their platform.) They run alot of get together meetings which were quite good for meeting people, but when I was using them, the biggest problem was thier massive java whale of a web interface.
I literally had to open another browser just to run CMC otherwise the java would run chrome into the ground.
Also, the guy who owns CMC used to be the treasurer for the conservative party in the UK, so I suspect if they ever get into trouble they will get bailed out.. =)
