While my overall experience with Excess has been great, I do think the web trading terminal needs some improvement. There are too many toolbars, which makes the interface feel cluttered. Just like the order mode toolbar can be hidden, it would be great to have the option to customize or hide other toolbars as well. Also, the chart tends to lag quite often, which can affect the trading experience. With a few optimizations, the platform could be close to perfect.

I’ve been trading with Excess for a while now, and I can say this with full confidence—they’re easily one of the best brokers I’ve worked with, if not the best. Everything is always on point, from execution to overall performance. What really stands out for me is their interface—it’s so smooth and efficient that I don’t even need MT5 or TradingView to trade. Tight spread on all pairs. On some pairs, the spread could be very wide, especially in volatility days. Xauusd, xagusd and usoil usually get affected. I know they can do better. But apart from that, they are very reliable and gives small account holders the opportunity to partake in day to day trading.
