i would say hfm is the best broker i have been using since i started trading

I have a large profitable account with this broker. The platform is good and VPS service has proved to be faultless. Downside, and here is the warning to profitable traders considering opening an account this HotForex, their withdrawals department is either incompetent or intentionally obstructive, and likely a little of both. I withdraw profit monthly, and so far this year their withdrawal department has managed to process 30% of these incorrectly (I'd call that systemic failure). And each time recovering these funds has been a nightmare of countless emails and dealing with automated or duplicated responses. I only stay with them because it is better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

Advice, if you don't make money from trading, than Hotforex is probably for you. If you are profitable, look for a broker with a competent withdrawals department.

i reduce / cease my activity at 'Hot' forex because of discrimination:
My manual trades are in direction of fundamental trends + where i can earn daily swap.
Works great with good brokers like pepperstone, axitrader...
At Hotforex i have to PAY for being say EURUSD short or USDJPY long.

I asked for a swap free account as an alternative:
"Sorry, islamic faith only". Rediculous -- my trading pays other people's swap free accounts.
(Other brokers changed my accounts to swap free after my request).

That why you used first demo account to be able to gauge thier spreads and excution during news or without news.and you are trading in a minite tf so expect volatility and lot of movemnt on that tf. I also traded during news but i nevers use 1m tf.and its good

Registered Premium account there just after New Year, trading runs quite smooth and without serious issues. Nothing extraordinary just regular broker with fair trading conditions, I think it should suit amateurs. Made around 50 pips on Jan 8 NFP, the moves were especially rough (first US data after historically important rate hike) and platform didn't let down. Tight quotes, no requote message, TP was triggered swiftly as it should.

Later I moved on their Fix spread account as news trading goes better there without spread widening. Idk about beefs above but I din't have occasion to run across similar issues, though can't deny there is slippage and gaps sometimes on volatile instruments like USD/RUB and USD/MXN. Otherwise its good.
