I’m using it for about eight months mostly trading NASDAQ and oil CFDs. What keeps me around is how fast trades execute I've never had a lag or freeze even during news events. I donno if it's my payment provider or it's on the platform, but for me withdrawals take way too long. When I talk about trading I want everything be lightning-fast. Even though I’ve never been a fan of proprietary trading platforms, this one impressed me the most. Smooth charting without lags, everything is within 15 sec reach and great integration of analytics. The asset list was also decent. Margin and option assets across all major classes. Not just US stocks and majors. For each instrument they had comprehensive analytics, which helped me to see the context without spending time on determining price bias myself.

No algo trading would be the most disappointing thing so far here. I know it’s hard to pull this off, that’s why imho they need to add metatrader as an alternative or ctrader… I wanted to automate some strategies but seem the platform is for manual trading only…

For what this platform offers, trading margin and options with reasonable trading conditions and no flows in the trading service, I liked it. Check on the spreads during NY opening and even gold didn’t display any mad numbers. Everything was within normal range. PAYMENTs, it’s my next stop. Yeah so I knew nothing about trading and just wanted something that wouldn't fry my brain. Iqoption app is really simple to figure out even for dummy like me. I spent like a month on demo before putting real money, that was cool of them to have that. Their blog actually helped me understand what margin means and all that stuff. So when I finally deposited I felt like I kinda knew what I was doing.

The verification was a bit annoying tbh. Took like a day and a half and I was just sitting there refreshing my email. I hopped on support chat and they were chill about it, said it's just for security. Annoying at the time but I get it now. Also if you're just starting out, maybe more video tutorials would help, but their blog is fine.

The 1st reason why I chose IQ Option over other brokers is their longevity. The company has been running in this bizz since 2013, I was a kid at the time... xD So this means they’ve weathered many financial crises and they’re still operating these days. Their financial resilience is on another level. Trusting them $10,000 is not a big deal.
Implementing group chats into the platform is what I didn’t expect to see there. The broker suggests a wide range of options for trading, including crypto, forex, stocks, commodities and so on. This flexibility allows me to trade whatever i want to depending on the market sentiment. But mainly I trade cryptocurrencies because there is high volatility and I usually open positions with a fixed time of 30 seconds or 1 minute to capture profits quickly. But also for those who are into conventional trading with margin, you can also trade CFDs with high leverage and standard spreads, everything depends on your tastes.
What would you improve about IQ Option?
Maybe adding more advanced features, their platform is good in terms of ease of use, but the lack of some tools makes it too simple and not perfect for advanced trading. I hope you’ll take it into consideration for future updates.
