I purchased an online funded trading account via equityedge.io. The firm subsequently liquidated my paid account using an unwritten rule—forcing mandatory daily tracking of updates on a third-party application (Discord)—which is completely absent from the Terms and Conditions listed on their website.
Furthermore, they claimed an emergency holiday early-close email alert was sent on Friday at 16:59 GMT+5 (12:59 PM local time in Nigeria). This email never successfully delivered to my inbox or spam folder. When I requested basic technical verification of transmission (SMTP delivery logs) to prove it actually reached my mail server, support agent Chelsea explicitly refused to provide data, stonewalled me, and closed the tickeT
To make matters worse, when I posted a factual comment on their Instagram asking about this, they immediately BLOCKED me. If a prop firm has to hide behind social media blocks, unwritten rules, and hidden liquidations to protect their image, they are running a scam. Avoid them with your capital

Communication and case resolution times.
When a payment issue occurs, customers should not have to repeatedly follow up before receiving a clear answer. More transparency regarding escalations and refund processing would significantly improve the customer experience.

I am a returning customer and have previously purchased challenges from Equity Edge successfully. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been very different.
On June 3, 2026, I purchased a 5K 1-Phase Challenge and paid 14.5193 USDT. The payment was confirmed on-chain, but I did not receive the purchased account.
After contacting support, the matter went through several rounds of escalation before I was eventually informed on June 11 that the purchase had been unsuccessful and that a refund had been processed. I was advised that refunds typically require 2–4 business days.
At the time of writing, today is the final day of that communicated refund window, and I am still awaiting confirmation that the refund has been completed.
I want to be fair: I have successfully used Equity Edge before, and I am not claiming that the refund has failed. However, resolving this issue has required considerably more follow-up than expected, and the overall experience has been disappointing compared to my previous interactions with the company.
I will update this review once the refund is received or if the communicated refund timeline passes without resolution.

They will accused you copy trading whenever they find one of your trades have similar pattern with others instead of the whole account trading behavior. Inducing people to buy multiple 100k instant account but never let traders know cannot trade same instrument across multiple accounts. They will only let you know when you manage to submit payout. Then, accusing you copy trade between accounts and deny your payout.
