It doesn’t trade every signal. That’s why it works. Consistency beats excitement. I finally respect my account. Reach out here to see it.

First understand which strategy is used for what trading. Not every strategy is best for that particular type of trading. For example, day trading, scalping, swinging etc. Commodity traders uses different strategy while forex traders uses different kind. So, first chose what kind of trader you want to be, then research what is the best strategy to use. Lastly, try to master that particular strategy. This is how you stick to a plan in my opinion.

I used to confuse excitement with opportunity. If the chart looked “busy” I felt like I should be in it, and that’s when I’d make the dumbest entries. Once I accepted that my job is to wait, not to predict, things improved fast.

Not trading every signal is actually the real trading. The edge comes from being selective, not active all the time. Anyone can take every setup, but knowing when to stay out is what protects your account and keeps you consistent. That discipline is what most traders overlook.

I am already trying my best to be as consistent as possible. Going to hit my first ever 100 trades.

Agree with the message but the "reach out here" part worries me. Consistency is real. But anyone selling a system usually chases excitement themselves. I found consistency by journaling and cutting my risk, not by following someone else's signals.

I stopped trading for excitement two years ago. My rule now: if a trade feels thrilling, I size down or skip it. Excitement means I am probably gambling. Boring trades keep me in the game. That shift changed everything for me.

Excitement is often a red flag in trading. The more action you feel, the more likely you’re overtrading or forcing setups. Real consistency usually looks boring, just following the same plan over and over. Skipping trades is part of it too. It’s not about catching every move, it’s about protecting your account and staying in the game.

Filtering is a big part of it. Not every setup is worth taking, even if it looks good at first. The more selective you get, the less noise you deal with. It’s not exciting, but that’s kind of the point. Consistency usually comes from doing less, not more.
