where did you learn about the forex basics ?
I learned most of my forex basics online. Educational tutorials videos helped a lot with understanding concepts like pairs, pips, and market sessions, while forum discussions and blogs filled in the practical gaps and real trader experiences. I also went through a few free forex basics courses on SureshotFX, which were useful for structuring everything I’d picked up randomly. After that, I spent time trading on a demo account to get a real feel for how the market moves, practice entries and exits, and understand emotions—without risking real money.
Learning forex basics requires patience and time. While learning you might feel like, "Ooh-hoo, I have learned enough and I can start trading now." But DON'T!! This is the biggest mistake beginners do- thinking of becoming pro within a month or two. But I would suggest to practice on demo account at least for 6 months. Free signals can be tried on a demo account, as nowadays many providers offer free signals -one or two signals daily. So, without any real investment, you can have the basic learning with practical trading on the real market as well.
I learned the basics the old-school way, through books. I did try free online courses and YouTube videos, but I felt overwhelmed by the amount of information. Reading different books about the forex market written by experienced traders helped me get a clearer idea of what to focus on and what might actually work for me.

I totally agree with you. One thing you can try is to start following trade recommendations from any trade expert, like Sureshotfx. Then, day by day, you will get real market trading experience and also make profits
